I dunno, I do commission work and frankly I prefer not to pay an agent a percentage of my commissions - either for the book covers or the private commissions. I honestly don't take on that many commissions as I prefer to stick with my work for gift shops - and I don't need an agent for that. But then I have a good knowledge of contract law and am very specific regarding my own contracts. However I would think there might be a place for it in regards to video games and animations.
