UVMapper will not place a texture that you have in the correct position for you.

What UVMapper WILL DO is to create a "wireframe" image that will show you where textures should be applied in order to show up correctly in Poser.

Here is what you do:

In UVMapper ...
Load the model (your .obj file)
Create UV Map
Save Texture map (.bmp)

Now, use your favorite "paint" program and load the .bmp that UVMapper created for you.

Now you can "see" where textures should be placed on your new "object."

Paint your tex picture and save it.

Start Poser and in the
[menu] "Render" ----> "Materials"
Load you new .bmp into the Texture map.
When you render, you should see your new map applied to the object.

BTW - One of the excellent features in the just released UVMapperPro gives you the ability to view and rotate [in any direction] exactly what the texture map you are creating will look like in Poser. You don't have to be running Poser to do this. You only need your paint pgm and UVMPro active.

Remember ... "With Poser, all things are possible, and poseable!"
