Call me insane but I changed to XP when upgrading to an Athlon 1800+ with 1 Gig Ram and a Geforce 3. Runs like hell! OK, it took about two weeks to turn XP into a running system but after that: No complaint. So if you got some experience with operating systems and a fast machine have a try.
