I would expect the dxf format would be your best choice and it SHOULD work. This format CAN transfer surface data. The CAD system you are transfering to may not read surfaces in it's importer. It could also be a matter of all the normals getting reversed in the process and the mesh not appearing to have any surfaces. Foxhollow
