Bsteph this is the same feather, but rescanned on the flip-side, and the histogram levels in the scanner software were played with a bit before scanning to increase the contrast. Gun, your scanner still managed to elicit some fairly fine detail,I always thought my scanner had a fairly shallow depth of field too-if you look at my scan, the quill-end of the feather is not fully focussed. I really like that paper bg too, it suits the image well! Dear Doruk, your Peacock feather is beautiful with some lovely colours...and I love that single strand of feather that curls down and around to the center of the image! I think, having seen your past scans as well, that your scanner gets some really good results, even if itis a bit slow, as you have commented before... ;-)>
