No real trick, other than the annoying crosstalk problem. You're not just using the PZ3's and Vicky maps, though. You've also got high-res textures, bumps, and transmaps on all three outfits and hairstyles. They might not seem that memory-hungry as JPEGs, but once they're loaded into memory the JPEG-compression is irrelevant. Is 512MB enough? Part of it will depend on your system setup. WinXP is supposed to handle memory more efficiently than Win98, for instance. Your processor should be fast enough. The memory on your graphics card doesn't matter that much, since Poser isn't hardware-accelerated. I've only got 128MB of memory, and I use every trick imaginable to cut down on Poser's memory demands. I often export the characters as .obj files, then use those in the scene instead of fully-clothed figures. I have to reapply some of the bumps and transmaps, but I've freed up a ton of memory that would normally be consumed by the .cr2 morphs. The OBJ meshes are less complex, also, since invisible parts don't get exported.
