Subject: Carrara full texture mode did not work!

I had my carrara set to direct x render preview and I never got the full texture mode to come up. it was the same as full shaded. I just changed it lastnight to Software render and now I get full texture previews at 40 fps. COOL!!!! There was a note on the onelist about using software render. I would suggest that you set it to software render if it is not. Like I said, I am getting 40 fps in texture mode and this Kicks butt!! "Makes ya want to get up and beg for buttermilk". Spike

How exactly do you change Carrara from OpenGL/D3D to software mode? Am I totally missing something? I am still in the process of RTFM-ing, so that is certainly a possibility, I guess... =)

at the bottom right of your screen there are some balls to set your preview level. The first one is a up arrow. select it. from there it's straight forward. Spike
