Paul, I have to say that 4.05-02 is the most stable so far. It has a couple of mildly annoying bugs, but I have had 0 crashes with it so far. As I've also said before, the volumetric lights seem better too. :) Win 98SE, that is... Why not try it? I assure you that copying the "Back" folder contents into the main directory sets everything back the way it was prior to upgrading, although I recommend making a backup of the "Back" folder before running any new patches. Then again, like you say, if it ain't broke, don't fix it...
