Just cause I was hugging my dog.... Hope you like....critisism welcome. Sharen

May just be the perspective Sharon but to me the hand looks a bit large. I like the concept a lot though. True love.

No offense to you, Sharen: this is more a statement about the state of the meshes we have these days. We've got some incredibly good ones for the people now, between Michael and Vicky and the kids and, heck, even the baby. Kupa, it's time to look at those animals again, okay? A dog and a cat that really look like a dog and a cat in the same way that Michael and Vicky look like real honest-to-god people. I know you have a lot on your plate, what with collision detection and gravity and everything else, but can we somehow squeeze in some time to revisit those poor critters? Sharen, back to you: sweet image. Really nice.

Very sweet image! :)

Makes me wonder how my neises birthday party is going today, she just turned 11. Very sweet.

SAMS3D ( ) posted Sat, 23 February 2002 at 4:52 PM

You are all right, the perspective of the hand does look large, but what ever angle I got it didn't look right, and I know the dog looks a little plastic, but I just couldn't resist. Not like it's going to win a contest....LOL, thanks for you input though, I have to work a little harder, and yes we definately need new pets...Sharen

ahhhh, 11, you should give her a call, happy birthday to her. Sharen

Awww. I had to go hug mine. Woke one of them up, but he never minds if there's a tummy rub involved. I agree VS! If Daz came out with a dog or a wolf that is to the P4 dog or wolf what Mike is to Dork I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I can see it now... a whole line of products. Different conformable ruffs, fetlocks and tail fluff. Pug morphs! Shar-Pei hair! 'Lassie' scenes complete with well for Little Timmy to get stuck down! Oh, and dog phonemes... There's a big difference between 'Arf', 'Woof', 'Grrrrrr', 'RagnRagnRagn', and 'Woooooooooooooooooo'... Yes, definitely a market niche.

I'm hoping that the DAZ Mystery Model will be a Millennium animal. Sharen, that expression on the dog's face is an almost-perfect match for the look my adult cat gives me when he wants me to let him go. :)

Sharen that is a wonderful image, and it is all the more beautiful because it came from your heart.

A really lovely image Sharen! The child is very sweet and her clothes are super looking and the dog looks wonderful!! A lovely and sweet image depicting a child's love for her best pal, her dog. :) Irene

I feel when I hug my little Cockapoo SAM, he has a little brother named 3D and looks just like him....sweet peas. LOL...so glad that I am not the only one who (probably out of some guilt of the time involved) named her business after her pet....my cockaTOO...as in bird...is Poppi. You're picture made me well up. We had two wonderful family dogs, both put to sleep with cancer about a year and a half ago. Gosh, my girls loved them when the rest of the world was sour. Thanks for sharing this. Pop...Pop...Poppi....whose parrot was never, ever a family favorite, but did excell in outliving the rest of 'em.

Sharen, those are adorable little pooches. I just love animals. The image you did is great. It had a lot of emotion in it. Agreed re the dog. Let's hope that DAZ is working on some new ones. But inspite of the low res dog, the image is darling. I love it. Melanie

Marque ( ) posted Sat, 23 February 2002 at 8:06 PM

Actually I barely noticed the dog, the emotion in the little girls face is very good. Nice job, I just got an new pup about 2 weeks ago. Queensland Heeler. I just got an new carpet shampooer 1 week ago..Bissel...lol Marque

Lovely pic Sharen, what where would we be without the comfort of our dogs. And Marque I'm sympathising with you all along the line. My Pup is growing up now, thank heaven, and gets told off by the older one if he slips up. The older one was afraid to tell him off when he was little. New dogs would be lovely, can't get the poser dog to look even a little bit like a terror, sorry terrier.

Well, I agree with all of you about the DAZ animals, can't really believe we have so many great animals and no different dogs. Maybe they will hear us. Marque you made me laugh, and chohole ours was like that too, Sam was afraid of 3D too, funny. Not anymore there real buds. Thanks to you all for the comments on the image too and Poppi my heart is with you animals really can keep so much in perspective.
