I have once more returned to my old family album, this time to search for interresting faces, and tries to give them a more timeless look. What do you think of it?

I think it is an interesting idea. I'll look through some of my old stuff.

i like what you've done, if I couldn't see the original next to it I wouldn't think it was an old photo.

The redone image of the woman is beautiful, as she is... quite timeless I would say.

Maybe, because this couple emigrated from Sweden to America just in the beginning of 1900. I have a lot of photos where the notes are "dead in America"

But of course, I don't know if you are from US

I played with this for a while, but kept coming back to the original. I guess this is one of my ancestors. Have hundreds of old photos of icy-eyed German ladies and dashing men with mustaches. Somewhere along the way some toad must have mixed in to get the genetics where they are today. Sadly, now there is no one left who remembers who these people were.

I wonder if your photo is a confirmation photo, looks like she has a bible in her hand, and beautifully dressed in white. It is a bit sad not to know anything, a photo with a story is more fun. It is the same for me. There are names that are not saying much to me, don't know if it is ancestors or friends. And as I mentioned, many of them are emigrants to America,on the lady I have worked with it is said: dead in Chicago
