The odd thing? Maury actually believes this rigmarole about armadillos, rabbits, and amazons! He is even nervous about facing a couple of what we know to be sweet-tempered, reasonable, attractive ladies. Anybody else would have booted the Kid for lying down on the job (pun intended).
