Thanks for the input guys.....I'm still not sure if I like this or not...I'll try the clock opacity and see how it looks. This may just end up in the trash bin. I've been trying to improve my Photoshop skills...I've only had this book for about 1 year now...and I'm just starting to go through it.....so I've been playing around with this stuff.
