Bryce renders better than Poser over all , but I often find that Poser will do better with the actual Poser models.. what I mean is that often textures and so on especially for characters, do not look as good in Bryce no matter what you do . Vially when I really need a character to be sharp and detailed I often create the scene in Bryce , every thing that will be behind the character and export the background image to poser .. then set up the poser character in Poser and use the Bryce image as a background and render .. make sure that you rendered the Bryce file to disk first so that you can get a really high res image to use. If you are going to have things in front of the character you will have to render those in Bryce .. then make a mask render and composite it all in a paint program .. not the perfect solution but it is the best I have found so far s.
