When I don't see words, I tend to expect ALT messages, tool tips, whatever, or maybe I go into the source to see what's goin on. I kinda like baffling web pages. Keeps me on my toes. ;) But for the maot part, simple is good. Easy is good. People in a hurry, or people who just want to get right at something probably prefer as much text as possible.
