Load your Windows CD, and at bootup select "Boot with CDROM support", and then type "D:Setup.exe" to reinstall Windows. When it asks you if you wish to save your previous configuration (in case you want to change your mind and go back to your old Windows installation) choose "NO". BTW: missing dll files are usually caused by faulty installations of programs, which usually can be fixed by reinstalling them again. If that doesn't work I try reinstalling Windows, but only if I run out of ideas lol Good luck in whatever you decide to do JoeBlack
