If you mean a cut out in a wall here is a good tut that helped me out, it isn't for a window but the concept is the same: http://petersharpe.com/Tutorial2.htm or if you mean the glass try making a 2D plane and applying a glass texture to it and resizing and rotating to suit. Thats what works for me.
