Pam, You'd have to ask Hajime Sorayama himself for the exact reason but if you replace the chrome with leather or latex you might get a better idea of why.I think it has something to do with a male's inexplicable need for shiny,curvy things.Whether it's a sleek shiny sports car or a shapely woman in tight black leather(or baby oil),guys can't seem to resist,kinda like crows with shiny peices of tin foil.
