Etta, You can put a photo texture on a model in AvatarLab (see the CuriousLabs website), but those are really low-poly figures for the most part. You need good images from front and side to do this. Remember that getting a face to be recognizable is more than the color image, but also the shape. I believe that Cake1's tutorial also covers "morphing" the shape of the face to match the photo. You will want the angle of the jaw and shape of the nose to fit before applying the photo. There are people here who have worked long and hard to get faces of celebrities right. They usually post a picture showing the photo and their model and ask for comments, and we make suggestions for improvement. When we work on something for a long time, it is difficult to see it clearly and a fresh set of eyes can help. Carolly
