Yeah, Rhino is awesome, but max does polygon meshes much better, in addition to having all sorts of wild mesh modifiers, such as the Free Form Deformation boxes..and many plugins made for it far too numerable to mention. And of course, it can do NURBS, as well. Plus, it does animations. Actually, it's animation features seem to be the easiest thing about it, and much simpler than, say, Vue.
