If your figures fall through the ground make sure that in the first frame you select the Body of the figure and use the move tool to lift it until it is where you want it(only select the circle around the figure, when it turns white you can safely move it without changing the figures pose) Secondly, when you click on 'make movie' make sure you select the 'current render settings' from the list (as per image) The animation window; if your talking about the status of the rendering then you can close it it will close automatically when the rendering is complete, and then will open up your avi viewer to view the completed animation. Hope this helps you. I've only been using Poser for less than a month myself, but this is a good place to get some very good advice (some extremely knowledgable people out there).
