Imagine is a great, though largely unknown and continuously underpromoted software. It is now and has been for some years available for Windows and I think it will work under any version, though again, like someone said, I can't swear to what it would do under XP. It has suffered, IMHO, from the lack of market awaress (read "advertising" or "money" or "lack of same") as Impulse is a very small but dedicated outfit. They do make Organica and Illusion as well, both fine proggies that benefit from much greater general awareness. Having used it since the Turbo Silver/Amiga days - my 2000 sleeps still in my garage - I can say that it at one time suffered from VERY POOR and poorly written documentation. Being a proofreader by trade, this caused me no end of frustration, as the learning curve was rather steep - at least I thought - but that was corrected some years back with the release of the EXCELLENT CD-based I-Files, a great source of tutorials, models, etc. Everything you could ever want to know about Imagine, about $45 to $50 US. Also available from Impulse or coolfun.com. I think. Because the CUP - I'm a member (sigh) has been so slow to reach fulfillment, many folks have migrated to other softwares from frustration, need to keep up, p*nis envy, what have you. This is the way of the world. But there are gobs and gobs of (rabid) Imagine users. I've run across various users around here over the years. I'm sure there are still others and possibly more to come.
