These hair objects generated by Cinema's hair simulation plugin are polygon based and can be exported as .OBJ files so i think i will try to make some cool new wigs for poser when i get the hair density just right

I rather doubt that Poser can handel as many polygons as Cinema 4D. But it is certainly worth a try.

Does the liscencing aggreement allow for redistribution or sale of that geometry?

I was going to ask about the poly-count, myself. Any morph targets would be an incredible drain on resources, also. Perhaps it could be made into a poseable figure, instead, like Anton's fantasy beard.

Redistribution of the obj should be no problem if wolf uses the 'Hair Department' plugin.

Madyuri is absolutely right
the "wigs" spawned by the plugin are essentially
deformed primitatives from cinema
no different from me distributing bent cylinders
made via the bend deformer of cinema.

i will start with some custom wigs for DSI's Dina
since she renders so
well with her Dense geometry even in poser
