Your answer may be the .cr2 as you stated , I can only guess Morph manager is an awesome utility but I have no luc in adding morph objects to clothing items either, so you are not alone. :O| I am sure that you have already tried to make this more than once but if not delete the .cr2 that you have made and start over, sometimes the .cr2 files get corrupted some how which I cannot explain. I can't say wether its the patch or not seeing that I am waiting for the "alpha" version.
