It's called d33d speak (dude) I know that the type of language is used heavily in online games like Everquest, DAoC, and UO, though I am not sure which started the trend. I do remember back in the old Commodore 64 days the terminology was used then too, though it was different in a lot of ways. I think it just comes down to what was already said, the people who use the terms think it sounds cool. I, for one am thrilled about d33d speak, because I know exactly who to avoid once I see it being used ;) JDexter
