3D Exploration was originally created by a Russian guy named I think Vladamir who owned X Dimension Software. As far as I know, 3D Exploration was their only product. Around Summer of last year, X Dimension sold 3D Exploration to Right Hemisphere. RH updated it a few times, and got as far as version 1.81. About a two months or so ago they released Deep Exploration, which is the continuation of the 3D Exploration line, although it is much better in many respects. It is very much faster at redrawing than 3D Exploration ever was. 3D Exploration was originally sold for $50.00, and part of the "Enterprise" (registered) license deal was that people wpuld get lifetime free upgrades. Good deal. :) But when RH bought it, they cancelled that policy, ut told us previously regitered customers that we would get one major upgrade for free. That was what you see now, Deep Exploration. The other thing they did was they quadrupled the price. That's right...even before 3D Exploration became Deep Exploration, the cost of a license had quadrupled with the moment RH took over ownership; One day you were buying it for 50 bucks from X Dimension, and the next day it was 200 from RH! I wasn't aware that RH is still selling 3D Exploration though.
