Well, I'm just not gonna stoop to the lowly art of yo-momma insults with Jack D. Krammerer. I don't have to prove myself to him or anybody else. I explained my offer very carefully and I agree it wasn't great. My intent was never to have people doing new artwork at this price...merely to buy stuff people already had laying about, collecting dust...stuff that wasn't going to see the light of day any more. I got one positive email...from David S. Thanks David, for being the only non-ridiculously-over-aggressive personality who responded...and I'm sorry I'm now pulling my offer. In closing, I humbly apologize for starting a flame war. It was not my intent. So sorry. Jack...get some therapy...not everybody in the world is an ass. And no, not everybody in the comics industry is out to screw everybody else. While editor at Forever Press, I was complimented by most folks for being one of the most honest and forthcoming comics-people they dealt with. There are a lot of dorks out there...but don't just assume everybody is, 'kay? It's insulting to those few of us who wear white hats. Learn to give somebody the benefit of a doubt once in a while...every now and again, it pays off. But unfortunately, you've tired me to the point of pulling my offer. I'm sure a lot of folks will thank you for that. JAG

Nothing personal JAG, but when a total stranger comes knocking, with a company name noones heard of, no web site address, and only a free hotmail account as proof of identity, people are going to be naturally suspicious. I would recommend moving this over to Renderotica, and there once you've provided some credentials, things will certainly move along much smoother.

Now I won't get my 5 bucks, and I have a hard drive with some old stuff I don't care about. Hey JAG, I sent you the email, what did you think of it even though you're pulling your offer? I am still kinda interested in what you do and would like to know more, and you can e-mail me here (davids@esmcivil.com)if you wish to keep it private. Davo

Mr. Gibson, Personally, I have nothing against you. What I questioned was your offer, not you personally. Understand that I am going to do my best to protect the members of this forum. When their stuff get's ripped off, we all band together and work on getting the situation handled. It was also my hope that you could see the reasoning for my suspicion of your offer and why others, like myself, had problems with it. Again, it isn't against you personally, try looking at it with their eyes. If someone offered what you did to you, would you "jump on it"? Rather than pulling your offer, perhaps, you can think of several ways in which to make the offer better to the people that help you out. In this regard, you make out and they make out. Now, here is the thing, you really want to make this work for both you and the people that help you out. Then please, contact me by e-mail, if you want include your phone number and I will call you and I will try and help you and offer my suggestions to help not just the members here, but your company as well. But your going to have to meet me half way on this and be serious in your desire to help the members here as well, or I wont be able to help you. My first priority is looking out for the interests of the members of this forum, which also includes you, and making sure that no one gets taken for a ride. Again, if you want help, not just from the members, but also for your company, please contact me. My e-mail is jdkammerjr@aol.com Jack
