Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 29 1:45 am)
I went ahead and registered (it is a nice forum layout, and runs quite fast), but I will prolly spend a majority of my time here, mainly because I can get in touch with a lot of folks, items, and such... basically for the same reasons I have a membership at 3D Commune. Although I don't go to 3D Commune every day, it is a nice change of pace, and I can find unique items and advice there that I couldn't otherwise find here :) The diversity is more than welcome however, and I believe that I will enjoy visiting all three sites regularly. /P
Renderosity has always been focused on the entire Poser community. We pride ourselves in promoting good relations with other Poser related web sites here. This is yet another resource for our members to use. Nobody should feel they are betraying us by using these other sites. We accomplish much more when we all work together. ScottA
Thank you ScottA.
Everyone is welcome at PoserPros. We even have several staff from other sites, including Renderosity as our members. All members are important to us, and all of us make up this community. We are diverse, and so there is a great diversity of sites with various and diverse "flavours" out there. Ours is just another "flavour", not a site meant to remove folks from any site, but an addition to the resources available to the community at large.
Hi Doc, I don't think you are that at all S I tend to relativate things you do hehe and that helps to see the humor in it... Hope my spelling is correct... :) And to Gabriel this: I am a long time member here, will not leave but like to think there is more then just rosity and that is not saying things overhere are no good!
I think in fact that you would find PoserPros a refreshing change of pace Blackhearted, since so far, folks are not having to delete their words, and what is more, the staff are not deleting them either ;)
As to what I could do if I wanted to undermine Rosity... trash it, suck the life out of it, all that, I could remove my items from Rosity's Marketplace for starters. Notice though, they are still there, still supporting this site, because this site was my original "Poser home" and still is, in my opinion at least.
I have a membership over at PoserPros.com and have been received with open arms by Russ and Mehndi. The site is really shaping up and looking good. Best of luck! Clint

chuckles to ClintH Well dear, you know, I could not imagine doing a single thing without you, you are near and dear to Russell's and my heart. Always have been, and always will be :) Thanks for the kind words Spike, we hope you will hang out with us and help us build it into something that takes Poser to the next level for those who develop things for Poser.

best of luck to you guys! i agree that the more excellent resources available to poser folks, the better... and i see that yours is certainly shaping up. i regret that i am butt-deep in tasks for the magazine and convention and have little time to DO any 'art' lately... or you would certainly see my ugly mug over there! grin
The new site looks great - wishing you all success, cos there's no such thing as too many Poser resources, there's always something new to be learned from someone somewhere! As soon as the "real world" (not to mention the PSP forum) lets me up for air, I'm sure I'll be spending some time there - I've seen enough to know I'd like to see more! :-)
Aureenanna, other than the couple of download forums, and the beta tester registry forum, all of the others are completely open to folks to read and browse and learn what you can without joining you know :) We have tried to do it that way on purpose so that we can serve as many as possible within reason till folks feel like joining :)
