3DWin is good for normal meshes, but Poser ones get destroyed in it as far as retaining "morphs" and such. PolyTrans did the same thing. I recently got a newer version of PolyTrans and haven't tried it yet on Poser figures. gsalas, Lightwave will export to 3DS format, as well as import 3DS (and obj). Modeler/Tools/Custom. There is a plug-in for it. it will export in .obj format too. This is what I have been using on my new combined figures and such :o) Also, if you want to use Poser in Lightwave, I have written a new tutorial on how to do it.
