Kalypso I appreciate your comment and if you look closely you will see how my 'puter rendered my transparancy map, it turned out to be white on black...when I tried to change the transparancy by checking the box, the whole head turned black with white eyelashes! I know better than to mess with the computer gnome, but I magnified the eyes with the idea to put in the eyelashes by hand and the dreaded c-exception came up....poof all gone..and no I had not saved except at an early stage. So over and over I did this one..saving after each layer...I just figure the eyelashes are how this image wanted them...but I agree it should be better with transparancies applied....maybe tomorrow....:-)
