Ok, so I'm usually a Bryce type person still waiting for the day when I think that stuff is good enough to post as well, but that's a different story. Just recently got The whole Poser deal - Poser and Pro Pack and some various Daz3d stuff(gotta love wedding presents from friends who don't care what the woman wants, you know? Of course I'm sure she will beat their asses later) and while I realize it was overkill for a newbie, what the hell. I've been a long time visitor of Rend'y always admiring the Poser works of everybody here but focus all my attention on the Bryce stuff. So, I'm sure I will learn a ton from everybody here and really look forward to one day being able to share my own work with everybody. But enough with all that.

I sat down and went to work, using the free texture that comes with my recent Rend'y subscription (Samantha by Magnet), Victoria 2, and Gel Hair. Now, I read through the user guide relatively quickly for Poser, but why does "Vickantha" have these most annoying eyebrow problems? Obviously I am missing something.. i've adjusted the upper eyebrows trans but she still has these creases? What's the deal? I feel like a dork because I know it has to be something so simple. Please help! Thanks in advance to everybody.

In the material settings for Upper Eyebrows, make sure you have Highlight Size set to 1%, Transparency Min/Max to 100%, Transparency Falloff to 0.00, and Highlight Colour/Ambient Colour to pure black (RGB 0,0,0).

I used the screen capture function of Paint Shop Pro.

LD, you have taught me tons in relation to 3d stuff. Where's teh screen capture function? =-0

Let's see: In Paint Shop Pro 4, there was a Capture menu at the top of the screen. In Paint Shop Pro 7, it's File --> Import --> Screen Capture. The toolbar is customizable in both versions; you can add a camera button that does the same thing. If you have some other version of PSP, I'm afraid you're on your own, as these are the only ones I'm familiar with.

OT but regarding the screen captures, I use screen capture in Corel 9. For those without that luxury use PrintSceen key on your keyboard then paste into wordpad or a photo program. Screen capture and photo programs can be had freeware from places like ZDnet, Cnet and Tucows. Tommy.

Newbies might find my tutorials interesting and helpful. I've struggled to learn things like eyebrows. When I've been fortunate enough to see the light, I make a tutorial that is easy to understand. By the way, I use Corel Capture 8 from Corel Draw 8 (of course). It's the handiest capture utility I've found. Another great program is SnagIt.

Is the transparency Falloff set at 0%? If you have any Falloff set on it, you can get a ghost effect. Check your transparency for the falloff setting. Melanie

Just FYI, "Alt PrintScrn" captures just the active window rather than the whole screen.

yup, all those programs are just using the OS's built in screen capture utility. Windows is PrintScrn (Upper left of the keyboard, just after F12), then Ctrl V in your graphics app. Or like said above Ctl PrintScrn, to capture active window. ~EA

EA, upper right, grin. I've tried that print screen thing, and it is nowhere near as good or comprehensive as Corel Capture. I can keep capturing new screens, have them autonamed and saved. Can't do that with printscreen?! Oh and I don't need to copy and paste.

No, but you do have to own Corel :P Of wich I do not, nor would not. Not with a fox, or in a box, I will not eat green..oh, sorry. :)
