I thought traditional Japanese furniture were pillows on the floor, and low legged tables... Hmmmm My husband spent time in Japan a few times and that's what he said... I lived in Hawaii too with lots of Japanese influence... Can't you just take a large square table and lower it's legs into the ground and throw some pillows on the floor? Preferably Anson's posable pillow at the Prop's Guild?... I don't know, just thinking here.. Anyway, forgive me if I'm wrong to whoever is Japanese on the forum for I know not what I say .. lol Have you tried 3D Cafe? .. If you could throw up a photo of the kind of furniture your looking for, we might see something we've seen in 3D before and be able to direct you to the right places...
