Thanks. I'll be anxious to see Dreamspinner's image. I've had a "Japanese' image in my mind since the first tea set Traveler made. I have an interest in Japanese culture and art since some of my textile work is based on traditional Japanese dye techniques (ikat and shibori) and I have a very good friend who is a wonderful raku potter--and much of her work, though very contemporary, also has a very eastern spare feel to it. Many of my potter friends are greatly influenced by Japanese clay work also--and some have studied there. Actually have several Japanese artist friends, too, working in other mediums.
