Poser runs better on my PC (Win 98 500 Mhz AMD Athlon on Asus K7M w/ 256 mb Ram) than it does on my Mac (System 8.6 400 Mhz 'blue case' G3 with 448 Mb Ram). The PC is much less crash prone as well. From that I'd say it's definately more of a processor speed issue than a memory one. With memory I'd assume you just want enough to have everything up there on the screen at once. As for my PC; it's really cool to be able to use poser with the models fully textured and the display option set to full-preview when I move/pose rather than 'box' mode. :) That may be an issue of my video card though (Geforce DDR). I couldn't even dare do it before my upgrade.
