Heh, I think you're right about the nap or cruise, Stephen Ray. But, I've experimented and studied the top number, and I'm pretty sure it's an estimated time for the entire render, not just the current pass. Just took a quick glance through both BR4 & 5 manuals and could find anything. Nothing in Susan Kitchens' book jumped out at me, either.
