Well, I've been almost too impressed to post! I think you've done an excellent job here. I'm also learning a lot from what the others have said, but I do have a couple of thoughts. I wonder if the light itself isn't too bright. Since this looks like a room where things have become pretty grungy, I'm envisioning cobwebs and dust even on the lightbulb (kind of like at my house!), which would soften the light somewhat. Oh, and the fire extinguisher looks brand new (which maybe you want, but thought I'd mention it). The other thing I was wondering about is that bright yellow box. It seems a bit misshapen, but there's something about the texture that I find unrealistic and glaring. Can't wait to see the revised piece! And I hope that once you get it up on your web site you'll give us a link, too.
