I agree with bonestructure. Giving it a glow isn't too hard, really, but you've gotta experiment with various textures to get just the right effect. I also like the idea of a kid looking out a window. As it is, though, the ship doesn't really look all that ethereal.. The glow would help, but you might wanna play with the texture of the ship itself, perhaps make it slightly transparent or something. Otherwise, you've got a really promising start here.
