I use RDS, not Carrara, and I used to apply boolean operations, but I had weird results, textures couldn't fit to the resulting shape, there were too many useless faces. Finally, I got Amapi 4.15, and now, when I have to make a boolean operation for a RDS mesh, I prefer to model the object entirely in Amapi and then export it to RDS. Sometimes, I use the "decimation tool" of Amapi to have an even lighter object. Fabien
