Well I would put something there inthe center.. Right now it sort of is a place without living areas at all ... I would also face the flags the same direction, the wind wouldn't blow from both sides like it would need to be doing to make the flags go like that (floating aside). The main torches in the towers appear to be a little big (approxiamately 10-15 feet tall to my recokoning). I would also increase the scale of the gate wall to match the surrounding area .. Normally they didn't shrink that much for the most vulnerable area of the walls. Another thing is that typically the attacking army would be camped out in front of the gates .. That way no one can come in, right now it seems you speak of placing the armies behind the keep which would allow anyone to leave through the gates .. Most castles were also placedon hills or at least a mound as well so they would be higher than the surrounding territory ... Sorry to appear picky and to complain a lot but I love this time period S I like what you have to start with though (believe it or not) but just was trying to help out ..
