The spaceships are nicely modelled, but I'd have to agree with those who have said that they look flat without any textures. Nothing is one solid color. No spaceship has ever been, or will ever be made from a single sheet of metal. There would be panel lines where the different plates come together. And each panel would have imperfections and ripples which would cause it to look different from the ones around it. Textures are used to create those imperfections because it would be impractical, if not impossible to physically model them. Steve Sanvito
