Subject: Suff (virus warning)

Hi, Yup, I've been flying a keyboard for 20+ years, Ron. I know exactly what autoupdate means, just not what an "auto update virus" is. The funny thing is we use Lotus Notes as a mail client, which has Norton built into it at the server end. So it would have found and screened it if it came in via mail. Being a postmaster I can tell you we get about 10-20 virus warnings/deletions per day. The amusing thing is when users get virus notifications for email they say they never sent. In one case the bloke was on holiday... :) I passed it on as it's the first time NAV has ever told me I had a virus and it scans the whole machine once a day, as well as continually as I surf/read/run prorgrams. At some point I may take a look at the code, see what it actually does and where it's updating to/from. later jb
