It's probably too late for you now, but I always recommend two disks (or at least two partitions) for windows systems. Put windows and easily reinstallable stuff on the first and data on the second. Most windows related failures can be remedied without data loss....unless it is hardware related. Also, these days, it's worth investing $100 on a CD burner. eric
