Well, after several more phone calls to Verisign (where I again got a different story, BTW!) by me AND my host, we're back up!!!! The thing that really bothers me about this whole debacle is that every time I called (even after they had admitted to my host it was their problem), they told me it was the host's problem. When I called back again for the second time and offered to email the results of the query my host ran showing that the problem was on their end, I got bumped to a supervisor who then finally said he'd escalate it to Registry. still never admitting that it was their problem. Only that they didn't know how to deal with it. Now if I had had a host that wasn't as knowledgeable or as willing to crawl up their @**es (on a Friday night), I'd still be down. My thanks to shocking.com. These guys are terrific!!!!
