Well I agree to some extent. There is absolutely no way anyone could produce a bug-fee, 100% ready to go piece of software. AMY, however, has some significant flaws. That being said, I would like to see a ball park idea of a release date for Poser5 . Even an estimate of 4th Quarter of 2003 would be better than no idea at all. I'm toying with getting Vue d'esprit, primarily for the way it imports and renders Poser scenes. If Poser 5, with its purported new render engine, is a year or more away, I'd probably buy Vue. If it's closer than that I would probably wait and save my meager "hobbysist" dollars for Poser 5. There is an inherent risk for Curious Labs in that as the user base grows, even the casual user will start to yearn for more sophisticated features. As in the case of Vue, another program could come along and interface perfectly with Poser and began to erode the desire to upgrade to Poser 5.
