Subject: Ranged Falloff

Is there a direct relationship to the number of a ranged falloff light and its distance to an object? Seems I have to experiment a lot to get a light to work.

Say, I'm 50 B.U.'s from my light to an object; what would the ranged falloff number be to light the object, but not immediately past the object?

From my experiance, Bryce units will usually get you close to the actual ranged fall off. Depending on the size of the light and it's intensity.
