Yup. :) This was my degree field: "Special Projects Major in Early Scandinavian Culture". Independent work is like doing a Masters on the undergraduate level. AND you get to be one-on-one with the professors, so you work a bit harder than when you can hide in the crowd. My Advisor was German and my Dean was Irish, so they were a tad biased about my efforts to convince them of the friendly intentions of my ancestors. ;^) Note: I am NOT a Viking apologist.
