If the model is working properly and the only issue is that the clothing isn't bang on in position, the only thing I can think of is that somehow the body parts you're still using are being misread from the origin point. Try this and see if it works: put the figure in default position. Apply the clothing. Reposition it so it covers as you want it to. Save that to the library as a cr2: it will automatically overwrite the old one. Close Poser. Reopen and try applying the clothing again. It should work just fine. The only reason I suggest this is because I've seen the same thing happen when I load the default hair props: sometimes they appear in the middle of the head, but once I've repositioned and saved in that new position, Poser remembers and it's no longer an issue.
