Styxx, I've found that when you subdivide areas of a model but not the entire model the resullting mesh can take on some strange characteristics. in particular there can be (as Ron mentioned) smaller polygons with edges in conjuction to larger polygons (see the areas I've circled in your picture). Or, specifically polys with more than 4 vertices. Poser doesn't like this. What you need to do is link the mesh so that there are no polygons with more than FOUR vertices per edge. From the looks of your mesh this shouldn't be an extremely long process, just some cleaning up and relinking to eleminate the offending odd numbered vertices, sort of like the green lines I've drawn on yout image.
