I don't know which program you are using but in Photoshop duo-tones is built into the program. PaintShopPro doesn't have a duotone option built in, you have to convert the image to greyscale and then colorize.....at least that's what it says in the manuel. In Photoshop I always do my normal routine things first, adjust levels or curves, unsharpen mask, and then in the channel mixer convert my image to b&w. Then I convert the image to greyscale and the duo-tone option is then available, where you can set up your two color curves. There are alot of presets in there and I usually just fiddle around until I'm happy with it. No matter which program you're using you should be able to get that duotone color by doing what I said before greyscale and colorize by fiddling with the hue/saturation option.
