Hey you all 20 GB memory can't be RAM on a regular PC, you need an SGI onyx(or something like that) for such amounts of RAM. I think Bigballa111cmb already said it was free harddiskspace. That makes a difference. By the way: Does anyone kow why I suddenly loose hundreds of megabytes of Diskspace at C: when merging large scenefiles in bryce? I get messages like: "Windows has detected less than 0 MB free space on c:! This is very little. please delete some programs you don't use to free up some space." And bryce says: "Error importing file. Out of memory!" But when I wait an hour or so there's 24.7 MB free space (always exactly the same, always 24,7 MB, I don't know why) And the scene is succesfully merged. Why is this? I normally have +/- 1 GB free space at C: and my swapfile is located at E: with 3600 MB free space, and there's 1700 free swap-space left on E: when the error takes place. Also there's no more than 8 KB in the Temp directory. The disk space on C: just seems to disappear into another dimension or something :). If anyone knows a solution to this problem please tell me. It might also be Bigballa111cmb's problem.
