Just thought I'd chime in here. After the comments about .06 I thought I'd try it and see how it was. I actually had better results with 4.03. I had all sorts of problems with 06. I couldn't render to disk without unchecking the saving of the alpha and depth images. I still locked up at 99% render completion and although I was able to shut down Vue and not have to cntrl alt delete out of it as in 4.03 it still froze. I was able to have a little conversation with Steve at Eon and one of his comments was that one of the things mine was doing was supposedly a bug that was fixed "long ago". Vue even gave me program opening problems that I never had with previous versions. So, appparently some versions work well for some people and their systems and some versions work better for others. After I load .05 I'll see how that works.
